Snoop Dogg soaked at Super Bowl bash

Snoop Dogg was left soaking wet after he was drenched with water following a performance at a pre-Super Bowl party over the weekend.

The rapper took to the stage at the DirecTV Beach Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, a day before the big game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots on Sunday.

He was awarded an MVP (Most Valuable Player) award from party organisers in honour of his athletic performance and he was stunned when a bucket of freezing cold water was poured over his head as part of a tradition.

A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six the hip-hop star was "unhappy because he got wet", and workers were subsequently dispatched to find him a dry pair of socks.
